This was actually taken in 1957 and of course was B&W. I colorised it and put a new blossom tutu on!

Well, now aren't you just a prima dona ballerina in the making! You would look lovely on top of a jewelry box. I always wanted one of those little dancers but never had one and I was never good at ballet either. One teacher even told my mother not to waste her money anymore. I think that was when I started taking piano lessons- which I was much better at! Nice work on the restoration and the flowery tutu!

Ann, I was the opposite - not allowed to do ballet - had to learn the piano. But I gradually wore my parents down by doing terribly at the piano and asking again and again!
