Dappled light on this road. I don't know how the oncoming traffic was a reflection on our bonnet! On the left are wonderful old oak trees and at the base of each one is a memorial to one particular soldier who lived in the district!
Thankful for:
Thunder but no lightning! Them big giants up in the sky playing bowls!
Such pretty colors. As I look at this, I have to wonder how long it would take me to get used to driving on the opposite side of the road. I wonder if they have an app/video game to practice.
How original to get that reflection on your car bonnet….we will have driven along this road I’m sure. Beautiful trees, always make a big difference to the scenery of a place. Looks very familiar to us if course driving on the same side if the road as we do.
@happypat I wanted to take a picture from further up the road which shows more trees but by the time i'd got my iPhone out, and it had identified me etc, we were further down the road.
@mccarth1 I think they have thought about this, Kerry - with Asian people arriving in and off driving straight away - caused many an accident. Not so now with no Asian tourists coming in! One good thing!
