The way into Oamaru from the South. The trees on the left are all oaks and called Memorial Oaks. Each one is dedicated to a soldier who didn't come back in the 1st World War - all soldiers from our area.
Good thing.... no frost this morning but maximum temp was only 9degC.
@happypat Yes, that's something Oamaru can be proud of, Pat. The terrace has been there for yonks and was grey and crumbling. They rebuilt it within the last year and replanted. New Oamaru stone.
