This is (was) my 2016 Hyundai Tucson - bought it brand new. It was my transportation and our long haul car. Our oldest son needed to have an additional car for a time and we found that we could live without a second car. Today we sold it and are now a one car couple.
We found this:
if we really need a second car for just a particular time, we could call an Uber to get where we needed to go (without the maintenance, gasoline, insurance and upkeep).
It was a very freeing feeling, Our primary car is our Nissan Leaf. We have had a Leaf for three years now, we have a home charging station and we love it! (Our decision was TOTALLY based on cost of use and need.)
IF there is ever a conflict of both of us going in different directions at the same time, we simply call an Uber/Lyft.
