The Huskies are getting a much deserved new stadium in 2013. As Oregon Duck fans we have gone to a few games there but the visitors are put at ground level, end zone, with a track between the first row of seats and the field. Learned it's better to just stay home and watch the game on TV. The new stadium will have seats 100 feet closer to the field. That will be great for everyone. In the meantime, the Huskies will play at Qwest Field, the home of the Seattle Seahawks. Tonight, the Ducks defeated the Huskies 34-17 -- the last game they played in this 'old' stadium. BTW, this is a beautiful location for a football field, it sits on Lake Washington at the open end of the stadium. That part will stay the same with the new stadium.
All teams have their ups and downs, but what I CAN say is that it is very fun to be a Duck Fan!
