My department at work had a Christmas Party today. We played some very fun games and this one is "The Snow Ball Game." Here is how it works: each attendee brings 10 wrapped gifts (or fewer) from the Dollar Store ($10). The host, wraps these gifts all together using packing tape... wrapping one gift to the next until all are wrapped in a big ball (as shown). The participants sit on the floor in a circle with the following: one pair of men's socks, one Santa hat and two dice. One person starts by putting the socks on their hands and the hat on their head. Now that they are ready, the others begin rolling the dice while the "Santa" starts ripping the tape off in an effort to get one of the presents. The "Santa" gets to rip until someone in the circle rolls doubles. When doubles are rolled the "Santa" has to stop, hands in the air, and the "doubles" person puts on the socks and hat and starts ripping off the tape to get to the presents until someone rolls a double. When everything is unwrapped and there no longer is a ball of presents, it's barter time ... I'll give you this, this and this, if you give me that. Too fun and great to do with kids and adults.
It was fun when we did it in too.
