I am in awe of the contribution you are making, both to people's physical safety and to their emotional health. Who could not smile seeing those masks with animals? Fav. I am currently on mask 5 BUT I found some elastic so I can stop making ties.
@eudora You should see the photo the woman sent me with her 3-yr-old wearing the animal mask - adorable! She said he was so excited to get his own mask. I feel good about it. But am also a bit concerned that violence is beginning to break out over masks. Not cool. Keep telling myself that I cannot control the actions of other people. Also, FYI, I've been cutting a large roll of 1 1/4" elastic into 1/4" strips with a rotary cutter. Not perfect, but it works. Feel like a frontier woman making do, ha ha!
I feel like such a slacker since I haven’t made any yet. Have you seen this video? I’m good at quilting, (actually I’m good at appliqué but not so great at piecing) but I can’t really sew anything else.
