This might be one of the pictures that's in the discussion topic "What kind of photos do you hate?" But, I was happy to see the sun after the rain clouds cleared out. I have a little glass menagerie in my kitchen window and I thought it was pretty with the sun shining through on them with the maple outside the window. I was a little shocked to see the detail in screen! Not bad for a cheap camera.
Most of the types of pictures I take ended up in the "What photos do you hate" discussion. I finally stopped reading. hahaa I happen to like your picture. And pictures of sunsets on the water, and babies in funny hats, and really good "full moon shots", and well...you get the point...LOL
Aww, thank ya @Angie Lintner! Yeah! I had to stop reading it, too! I love sunsets and sunrises and moon shots, etc. Not all of us are here to win a contest. I think that makes a difference! Just keep doing what you do! It's all beautiful to me. =)
I love seeing you through part of your beautiful collection! Great moment with the sun shining through and perfect for the colored glass. Your camera does a great job. I only have a p&s, but it's easy to carry and that's what I like. As for those in the discussion group, I say let them rattle off. I'm here for me . . not for a popularity contest! :)
@karenann, you have a GREAT attitude about this place! =) Thank you for all your kind comments! We like what we like and the mouthy can go climb a tree or whatever! Just a point and shoot? No way! If so, you do an excellent job with it! I sure am impressed!
I love your collection! I haven't seen glass animals like that in a long time. Way to delicate for me...I break everything. For me 365 is just a motivator to get out and shoot pictures. Last year I was much more worried about how my images compared with others. This year I am just trying to please myself and have fun! And I get to "meet" other fun people like you!
@wellington Amy, thank you so much! They are fragile but, the window ledge is the safest place for them in my house. LOL! Yes, I'm just trying to document the sights around my home. Not trying to compete with anyone but, I would like to take some good pics. I do enjoy folks here like you! =)
