Yes!!! It's that time of year when I can walk through my woods without fear of coming upon copperheads or rattlers! The light is beautiful in the woods in the late afternoon!
@Kd Wallis, thank you! Although, between the drought, then so much wind and rain lately, the leaves are falling off the trees before they can change colors. Either that or they've turned brown and already fallen. It's not going to be a great fall with the foliage this year. =(
@karenann, you are so sweet! Yes, it does pay to look up! I love to walk in my woods and now that the leaves will be falling, I'll be taking more photos there. More light in the woods without the leaves for my cheap camera! LOL!
