Morgana: "Show me more... Show me the Dragon... Tell me the sacred Charm of Making."
Merlin: "Even though such knowledge would burn... and blind you?"
Morgana: "Then burn me."
Merlin: "Look into the eyes of the Dragon, and despair. I destroy you! I consign you to oblivion!"
Again, maybe over the top with this one. First hdr'd the monkey balls, added some saturation to bring out the natural reds, then added Merlin and the dragon's breath in Photoshop layers. I do enjoy my fantasies and the closer I get to these strange alien-like items of nature, the more my mind's eye imagines all kinds of magical worlds and things.
I love that you've made friends with the monkey balls!! And now they're talking to you...excellent!! Wonderful imaginative shot and processing! Love the details and the rich browns!! Well done Maggie!!
@heidievans73 Aww! Heidi, you know it's my way of saying, "Hello, Heidi" and "I'm thinking of you today. Hope you're feeling better and healing from your surgery well." =) Thank you for your lovely comments! Much appreciated that you stop by and view, too!
@horselover Thank you, Jennifer! It's the lens that came on this cheap camera. I use macro mode to shoot these sweet gum tree balls. It's supposed to be a "12x" zoom lens. I don't have the option of lens for it. But I would like to find a durn filter cause it gives me lens flares when I DON'T want any! LOL!
@adevorss Wow! Thank you so much, A'Lissa! LOL! I try! I'm not winning any awards by any stretch of the imagination though! Appreciate your very kind comments!
Love your creative imagination! LOVE the sweet gum tree balls!! Those are hard to find up here, but I used to find them all the time when I was little and lived in TN.
@jenp Where are you, Jennifer? I know Heidi has them in Maryland! Thank you for your kind and lovely comments about my fantasies. =) I really appreciate it - very much!
Love the detail of your photo. Having some problems with my eyes, so hard to see small detail. I do see a face in the top right corner that is rather cool looking.
Maggie is havine fun again! And I saw the "face" . . which I love! Gal friend you are rocking the processing. Your colors are amazing . .love the warmth that they exude. You could make money doing this, Maggie. Beautiful piece of art. :)
@darsphotos Thank you, Darlene! No, I didn't mean for the face to be real clear. But will be highly recognizable to "Excalibur" fans. Appreciate your comments and the view!
