We had some AWESOME clouds today and lots of wind. This pic doesn't do them justice! I was just driving down I-77 doing about 70 mph, holding my camera up, clicking away through the windshield and hoping I'd get one good pic!!! That's all I got! LOL! That's all I could ask for the way they were taken. Ha ha! More about this little trip tomorrow. This pic has not been processed other than downloaded and saved to my mac. No cropping, or coloring in any way.
Oh, that's what clear skies looks like! I totally forgot! Well, I can't complain, we haven't had snow or much for cold temps in a month, then in the last 24 hours we got 6 inches of snow and the temps seriously tanked. This is very pretty!
Beautiful clouds darlin' you have some skills to click and drive...lol
Now if I did this you would yell at me....but I'm not gonna yell...lol
I'm just gonna worry about your unsafe driving habits ;P
Ha! Well done MalborowMaam - I did the same "technique" last year driveing north on I-25 in Southern Colorado, fun and much safer than "texting"........
Your photo turned out awesome! The blue skies are definitely beautiful with the wonderful cloud movement. But 70mph? Maggiemae, you have joined the league of insane 365ers. Hope that your trip was wonderful!
I'm so guilty of doing the same thing, lol.. It's just so hard not to snap pictures when the sky is so beautiful!! Love the clouds and your lines are pretty cool beans too
Before I even looked at your commentary or the larger photo I knew this was a motion picture of some sort because I felt sick - LOL! Don't take that the wrong way - that is a compliment on a great photo - it felt like I was in the car with you and the motion sickness kicked in! Brilliant!
Love it. I take photos through the windshield a lot and they come out great. Your sky looks like ours did today till almost sundown when it went totally blue. No wind here though. You are too funny as you did this yourself and I take photos while my husband drives. Glad you did not crash into anything.
I take pics while driving on the freeway too, but in LA we have horrible traffic and rush hour traffic is pretty much 24/7!
Great clouds dear! Where are you going? hmmmm....
@keyt427 This was on the way back. The clouds were a thick billowy gray on the way. Wish I had gotten a better shot of that! The wind took out most of them and our temps are dipping into the low 20s early this morning. Doesn't happen often in South Carolina but sometimes. Cloud cover does keep the temps up. Thank you for your comments, Keyt!
@meisen325 LOL! Monica, I kept my eyes on the road and just kept clicking, hoping for some good shots! Thank you!
@cindyrez Oiy! The wind blew them all out, Cindy and temps dropped pretty quickly! Thank you for your kind comments and the view!
@jbar LOL! I kept my eyes on the road and just kept clicking away! Thank you for your kind comments and the view!
@heidievans73 I promise, I kept my eyes on the road and just kept clicking and hoping for a good shot! Didn't look through the camera. Thank you for your concern and the kind comments, Heidi! =)

@ronphotos365 LOL! I kept my eyes on the road and just clicked away! Thank you for your comments and the view! I guess passers by thought I was nuts! Ha ha!
@horselover Thank you, ma'am! Always appreciate your kind comments!
@jimwilson I'm glad you feel it, too, Jim! It's sort of strange to get that from a pic! Thank you for your comments and the view!
@peterdegraaff I-77 goes around Columbia, South Carolina up to Charlotte and beyond. I was headed over to I-26 to the west side of Columbia. Thank you for you comments and the view! Always appreciated, Peter!
@cindi LOL! That's too funny, Cindi! I must be, huh?! Thank you for your comments! =)
@wannabe Thank you very much, Catherine! It's coming later today! =)

@debsulzberger Thank you, Deb! It was amazing how fast the wind blew them all out of the sky and changed their shapes! My little trip started out with a sky full of gray billowy clouds! This was shot on the way back!
@lizzy_lu123 Really! I kept my eyes on the road and just kept clicking. That's why I was hoping for just one good pic! LOL! Thank you for your comments and the view!
What amazing clouds. They look alive to me! Like they were having a big cloud convention up there, gathering to exchange world weather news with each other! Great capture!
@myautofocuslife Aww! Thank you, Livia! They were in motion, constantly changing shape with the wind. I like how you think - "exchanging world weather news." LOL!
@copperheadglass No worries, Meredith! I promise I kept my eyes on the road and not on the camera. Just kept pressing the shutter button and hoping for one good shot. Thank you! =)
@jenp Too bad, we didn't know of each other then! Could've met for a cup of coffee or an adult beverage some where! Thank you, Jennifer! Appreciate your comments!
@marlboromaam - next time I stroll through there, we will get coffee! I drove though really late and night and City Lights in Charlotte were so pretty that I took a picture while I was driving, but it didn't turn out well.
@cjphoto Low and high but, the wind pushed them out really fast before our temps started to drop into the 20s. Thanks for the comments, Chris! Most appreciated!
Now if I did this you would yell at me....but I'm not gonna yell...lol

77 seems to go on forever!!!!! I drove down there last August for my brother's graduation from Basic training at Ft. Jackson. Beautiful area too!
