Pine needles in upper right corner will give you a perspective about scale. Nothing real exciting today and a comp I'm NOT too happy with. Will shoot some Carolina jasmine blossoms when the light is a little better this afternoon, if the low temps last night didn't frost the little lovelies.
@nlaurie This moss stays green all year in South Carolina, even when it gets below 30 degrees. It dies off in the dry times and comes back with the rain. I think it's pretty hearty but doesn't do so well in the heat of the summer. No need to be envious. =) Thank you for your great comments! Much appreciated, as always.
@litljen I am usually drawn to the textures of things first - the eye candy to me. HDR does have a great way of making them stand out. Thank you for your sweet comments, gal! Always appreciated!
@joeboxster Thank you, Joe! Appreciate that coming from you, too!
@redrucksack Aww! Thank you very much, Eva! Always great to read your comments!
@cooperdawg Yeah... I've got to remember to get something in my macros for scale. It does help! Thank you for your kind comments! Always appreciated.
@pammerritt LOL! Pam, it's not huge. Pretty small and narrow. Always appreciate your kind comments! =)
@nlaurie LOL! I can certainly understand that! And I will be very envious of your cooler temps in the summer while I'm sweating to death in the heat and humidity here in SC! Know what it's like to walk into a wall of water? That pretty much describes walking outside in the summer time around here. LOL!
@marlboromaam it's really .. trippy... I like the whole effect ! I cant determine how big the root is either,.. it's really cool.. just so good.....well I'm off for awhile to watch Danica destroy another car at Daytona...lol
@mantha No, you're right! I thought there was something very fairytale about it, too! Was going to turn it into one of my fantasy shots but lacked the time today. Thank you, gal! You really did nail it! =)
@rach57 Thank you so much for your very lovely and thoughtful comments, Rachel! Much appreciated!
Great pov and love the scale reference on this . . you make the most amazing photos out of nature's tiniest plants. This could be a jungle for "wee people!" Great processing . . reminds me of a magical wonderland, Maggie.
I like the color and the texture of this shot.. I don't like the days when you feel like nothing turned out but it does make it so much more awesome when you get to the day when it all sings for you..
@cjphoto That is a small root, Chris. Reference the long pine needle in the upper right corner. Not grass though - ground moss. Do you think so really? I wasn't really sure because I really had no specific subject. Unless I just go with texture and that's the whole frame.
Nice capture!
Cheers :)
@ronbee LOL! Thanks, Ron! I like your sense of humor!
@lizzy_lu123 Great eye, Lisa! I thought so, too! I also saw a face in the root. Appreciate your thoughtful and lovely comments! Thank you!
