LOL! I tried! It's distorted and the house is NOT at that angle to the yard. The pines are really crappy and duplicated in the top center right of the frame. I did use a tripod, too. Oh well, live and learn. Will have to practice with the panoramic mode on my camera. Wanted to give you an idea of why it took me so long in the front and still, this isn't all of the front yard. I lost count of all the shrubs I've trimmed and cut way back. Trees will have to be trimmed this fall, too. But all trimmed, raked and mowed for the moment. Still need to run the weed whacker, too. Bigger priorities in the back yard this coming week though - more ivy vines to pull and more leaves to rake, etc.
I'm reading your critisims of your pic while looking at it in thumbnail and wondering "What is she talking about?" it looks fine. Then I view it large...and it looks GREAT!! I'm scratching my head ma'am. And I thought I was my own worst critic LOL!
@amoment Thank you for your kind comments, Jessica! Will have to get out and the manual and re-read it all again.
@memejanetx3 I am resting today, Janet! My bones ache. LOL! Thank you for your most kind comments and visit! Always appreciated!
@lizzy_lu123 Resting today, Lisa! Too tired for much of anything else. Thank you for your kind comments! Always appreciated and grateful to have them!
@cromwell LOL! If you can't see the distortion and duplication, then that's good! It does have these flaws though. Thank you so much for your comments, Cromwell! Most grateful to have them!
@joeboxster Aww! Thank you, Joe! Lots of work, I know! Appreciate your comments and visit, as always!
Well, I like this picture alot. Maybe it doesn't look like your yard, but we don't know that. The image is amazing! I think I may try a panorama today! Hmmmm
Fantastic job ... my gosh, girl. How much land do you have there?!! And this is only the front?!! Please remember that you need to get some rest before you start in on the back! This is so beautiful. I love your home! Great pano. :)
Wow! That's an impressive garden you have!! It looks so well kept and cared for. Like the panorama - with or without flaws, to me it looks pretty perfect.
@karenann 2.53 acres all together. Yep, not even all of the front. LOL! I am just resting today. My bones ache and I can't close my hands into a fist - they're so swollen from pulling up ivy vines. You, do? So does this mean that when things are done, if I still own the place - you'll come visit me? Ha ha! Thank you, Karen! Appreciate your sweet comments and visit, as always! Hugs!
@peterdegraaff A park! Really? LOL! I never thought that! Thank you for your kind comments, Peter! So appreciated!
@steveh Aww! Thank you, Steve! So you could spend hours in it? LOL! Maybe you and Linda would like to trade houses for a couple of weeks when mine is all finished? Ha ha! JK! Appreciate your kind comments and visit, as always!
@paulien Thank you, gal! Appreciate your kind comments very much!
@simon0128 Grateful for your comments, Simon! Thank you very much!
@paulineb Aww! Pauline, I could hug you for those lovely comments! Thank you so much!
@emmac LOL! I have the back yard to do now. Just do a little every day, Emma and it gets done. Set reachable goals that you know you can do each day so you're satisfied that you've met them at the end of the day. Thank your for your comments! Most appreciated!
Me, my poncho and my sleeping bag are coming to live in your front yard. I will work for you haha. Its a lovely panoramic view and without your own honest opinion everything looks as it should to some one who is not familiar with the view, its picture perfect if you ask me. I'll not moan about my small plot ever again now that I have seen the extent of your plot.
@justeddie LOL! I really could use some help but, unemployed in this blood sucking economy, I can't afford any help. I wish I could though! Ha ha! No, don't moan if your yard is smaller than this one. Now I've got to get to work on the back yard. Really appreciate your kind and thoughtful comments, Eddie! Thank you!
@marlboromaam Do you grow your own? I'd love to live off the land, I grow small amounts and could probably do a lot more. Its time to scrap the economic system and get back to basics, self sufficiency and trade!
Your definition of craptastic must be very different to mine! ;) this is a lovely shot and you have a lovely garden/yard, its so big! no wonder you work so hard - fab!
@justeddie LOL! Like the kings of old... the government will come for more than two thirds of your chickens, eggs, cattle and vegetables for taxes! Bastards! They'll take it away from you one way or another - the fruits of all your labor... POOF! Gone!
@copperheadglass Thank you, Meredith! It really does look a whole lot better than it did! I'm pretty happy with what I was able to do. =)
@mantha LOL! Yeah, I know the flaws are there but, you guys don't. =) Thank you, Sam! I'm pretty happy with what I have been able to do. It looks so much better than it did.
@wenbow Aww! Thank you, Wendy! Really appreciate your kind comments!
@justeddie It's very discouraging to work so hard for something just to have it taken away at some politicians' whims.

Wow, your yard looks fantastic to me! So much space, so much greenery! Beautiful, I think it's all beautiful. (Says she in her tiny city cage.) I wish I could visit you. Your hard work has certainly paid off. I'm loving what I see in your shot. What a great place to call your own!
Dang you have got a Beautiful Country Home!! Love it and Looks like the Panorama is a lot of work..so i am not going to try one of them any time soon!! Love your 's though!!
@marlboromaam Not as nice as my what, Maggie? I have pano on my camera if that is what you are referring to and have posted a few, but this is so beautiful, Maggie. I love your yard and would love to have so much space and tall trees to enjoy. You live in a beautiful place. Hugs back to you. Funny how we all see things differently.
Like most others, I see nothing wrong with this panorama?? Your yard is so beautiful and your home fits so well with the country scene. Your hard work is paying off and here I whine about taking care of only a quarter acre :-)
Wow! It must feel great looking at your yard so beautiful now! Your hard work paid off Maggie and I love how you captured it in panorama. Its so wonderful that you have included a little bit of your front porch. Your place is really beautiful! :D
@mummarazzii Thank you, Lisa! Grateful for your lovely comments and visit!
@ellimae LOL! I have a panorama mode on my camera. It isn't supposed to be hard. I just need to pay more attention to lining up the 3 shots. Thank you for your kind comments, Ellen. Always appreciated! Hope you're hanging in there. I'm with you in spirit!

that is a big garden.. I understand you very well I have a slipper size garden and it kills me before the opening season.. it will be beautiful when all work will be done.. I love the panoramic effect too..
What a marvellous and large job! Thank you for sharing your garden with us! My panoramic function on my p&s distorts angles too, but its fun to play with :)
@marlboromaam I really like this photo, Maggie. My best pano photos were from the park. It is so well kept and beautiful that anyone taking a pano gets a really good photo. It is not about that though, this is your home and it is beautiful. I love pano shots as you can see so much more in them. You truly captured your home so well. It is a beautiful place.
@phil_howcroft LOL! I wish I could afford to pay a gardner. That would be a luxury I've never had before! I've seen your garden work. You do have green fingers! Thank you for your comments, Phil! Most appreciated!
@carolinedreams Thank you, Caroline! Appreciate your lovely comments! Yes, I have an over populated squirrel infestation at the moment. Very destructive varmints when there are way too many. They have chewed up all six bluebird houses so the bluebirds will have nothing to do with the houses now and they have chewed up more hummingbird feeders than I can count. They have destroyed my small asparagus crop. Eaten my geraniums. Mock me when I try to run them off and worst of all have chewed through the shed roof. Five or six in the yard isn't bad but, 30 or 40 is dreadful!
@marlboromaam And I though they were just cute fluffy things! They sound as destructive as the possums we have in the NZ forests. They totally annihilate the trees and birdlife, even eating the eggs and chicks.
@melissapike Melissa, I would think you're in a great place for panoramics. Can't wait to see what you can do! Thank you for your kind comments and visit!
