Covered the white and purple buds earlier this week in my project. Time for the pinks! Still waiting for the watermelon red crepe myrtle to bud, but I trimmed it way back in the early spring so it may be several more weeks before it buds.
you are so good at these types of photos. I'm almost afraid to try to take a photo of something like this because I doubt it will turn out as well as yours
What a fabulous photo, Maggie. You have so much beauty around you. I have not taken any photos since Tuesday and tired of duck photos and missing our Saturday visit to the park. Cannot go till Tuesday because of the festival. Will have to post what I have later today.
Another Beauty Ma'am ! Boy that Camera and your eye are something special! My first Camera was the Kodac Easy Share and i must have given it away when i got my new one...now somehow no one knows where it is! I loved that camera!! Your compositon and focus and color are just perfect! FAV!

@mantha That's okay, Sam! I appreciate your comments, always! I'm like a moth following the light around. LOL! Thank you! It's always the first thing I see or don't see in others' pics, too!

@pointnshoot28 You are very kind, Donna! Thank you very much!
@ellimae Grateful for your kind remarks, Ellen! Thank you and thank you for the fav, too! I got my little Kodak just to take photos of my items for my Etsy shop a few years ago. I needed one that would also shoot video. I had no idea that I would be using it for this project. But, it has served me well and with technology changing all the time, when this one dies, I'll get another little Kodak - inexpensive and suits me and my poor pocket book just fine. I was so envious of the really nice expensive digital cameras and it took me a while to realize and remember, but it ain't the camera that takes the pics - it's the one that pushes the shutter button. LOL! I still haven't learned everything on this little baby. I had all the lens, filters, effects attachments for my old film camera - a small fortune invested in it and it sits useless today. I think I'll try to avoid that in the digital world. But that's just me!
@myautofocuslife Thank you, Livia! I appreciate your kind remarks and visit, as always! I'm beginning to feel like all of my shots are starting to look alike. LOL!
