Such a beautiful shot, Maggie. Love the rain drops. Wow, next week you start working again. So happy for you and look forward to hearing how it goes. Hugs.
@maggiemae Thank you very much, Maggiemae! LOL! Have you ever heard the expression "the devil's beating his wife with a silver chain"??? It's always used around here when it rains and the sun is shining. =)
@yonnie Thank you so much, Yvonne! Really appreciate your kind comments! Me, too!
@nadaa Thank you, Nada! It's amazing what the right software will do!
@lyno Appreciate your wonderful comments, Lyn! Thank you! Me, too! Need prayers to build up my strength and stamina so I can do this job and I'm not too proud to ask for them either. =)
@maggiemae LOL! No, ma'am! Further down the page is all the different twists on the expression. =)
@redrucksack Aww! Eva, thank you so much! You are so kind to say that! No worries! LOL! I'm quite sure I will get behind when work begins and I will have to struggle to catch up. =)
Wow, that is some rain, beautifully captured Maggie! WE say that when there is rain and sunshine at the same time the ans are getting married! NO idea why:) You must have some lovely ants having a ball around there:)
I once heard that we owe our whole existence to an eight inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains. Gotta love it. Must have missed your post on your new job. Care to share with your fans?
Like Livia, I can't get over the rain falling from such a beautiful sky ! Lovely capture and composition. So happy for you finding work and wish you all the best!
Love this shot, what did you do to keep the camera dry? I want to do more rain type shots but don't know how realistic it is to hold an umbrella & camera at the same time.
So excited for you Mag - you MUST provide a little new job updates too.
@hollandcrew Thank you, Al! Really appreciate your time to view and comment on my pic.
@myhrhelper Aww! Thank you, Kathy! I have a huge umbrella that's easy to set on my shoulders for some shots. If I need to reach bend or stoop, it's kind of hard. What we need is one of those big umbrella hats! LOL! It also helps to be able to stand under an outdoor roof. I'm rather anxious myself. I probably won't sleep a wink tonight! Will provide updates at there is something to tell. =)
LOVE this!! something about this drizzling, dreary shot, makes me smile when i look at it. Maybe it is because i love rain and how it makes me feel when i see it :) I love how you captured the trees along the bottom and how they curl up along the right hand side....total fav for me!!
I love the look of the rain! Beautiful blue! I can't imagine you will ever be behind. You are the most together person I know. I wish you the best in your new job this week. I am sure it will go perfectly!
Love how you caught it coming down like this ... beautiful against the blue skies! Finally the rains are here ... we've all (well, alot of us) have waited all summer for this! We're getting the same here too, Maggie. You have got to be so excited tonight ... a big day tomorrow. Right?!! Take care, friend.
@janturnbull Appreciate your wonderful comments! Thank you so very much, Janet!
@copperheadglass Thank you for your kind comments, Meredith! Most appreciated!
@pammerritt I think I will most likely start to run behind starting tomorrow, Pam, and the last two weeks of my project. Thank you for your very kind and lovely remarks! They mean so much to me!
@karenann You are such a sweetheart, Karen! Thank you for your wonderful comments! Glad you're finally getting some rain. I don't mind saying that I am very anxious. I probably won't sleep a wink! Hugs!
I apologize for the mass reply. Free time to do this is very little right now. However, wanted to thank all of you for your lovely comments and good wishes for me with my new job. Most appreciated! Hope I will have some more free time this coming weekend to comment and post the rest of my pics for the end of my project. Missing your pics and the fun banter!
