Under the canopy of the oaks on a cloudy day... by marlboromaam

Under the canopy of the oaks on a cloudy day...

Surrounding the old, empty, and lonely looking corral - cause I still miss my Little Bits. It's just filler - no need to comment.
I first thought it was a B&W shot but then saw the green leaves on the upper right side !

@cocobella Pretty cloudy sky when I shot this. Not surprising.

Great pov in this beautiful shot. I see a bird here and there, unless I am imagining things.

@marlboromaam Never had a horse, but I still miss every one of my fur folks that have passed. Thankfully the joy of their memory eases the feeling of loss.

@mittens Thank you, Marilyn!

@bkbinthecity Thanks, BKB!

@kvphoto Thank you, KV! The oaks take their time falling.

@craftymeg Thank you very much, Margaret!

@aikiuser I think when our companions pass away, the painful missing them does pass with good memories. When you are forced to give them away because you've been laid off and can't afford to feed them anymore - I think is different. You miss them sure, but the feeling that you let them down somehow always creeps into your mind. Hard to explain, but it's all I've got.

@santina Thank you, Santina! She is still in a lot of pain, but I saw her today for a little while outside her window - she looked better. Although, she says she doesn't feel better. Thanks very much for asking. =)
