Still too warm to walk in these woods. We don't want to find a copperhead ready to strike and they can strike over five feet away from where they're coiled. But soon - it will be too cold for them to be out. =)
@craftymeg Thank you, Margaret. We just stay out of the woods during the warmer months. The snakes will hibernate during the colder months, but still crawl out of their holes on warmer days to sun themselves.
