It has begun...

The first tree to begin changing color is the swamp maple. It will be bare before the other maple turns red. It's also the first tree to bloom in the early spring.

@rensala Thank you, Renee. It's native to the southeastern USA. It blooms in February and the swamps turn burgundy with their blooms.
