@marlboromaam I would not like being that far from the grocery store. And now that we're older, I would not like being that far from doctors' offices and the pharmacy! :)
@rhoing An ambulance station is not a mile down the road, along with a fire station. So they can get here in less than 5 minutes. Takes me about 20 minutes to get to shopping which I do once a week when I run my errands. Truthfully, I'm hoping all these doctor appointments will wind down sometime this year. That's what gets to me right now. I love being out here. It's quiet, peaceful and I love the solitude. Oh, and there's a county sheriff station a mile down the road too, so they can get here quickly if need be!
