Strange how mom keeps ending up at this hospital, although it's the only hospital in the town where she lives. With another fall and a broken hip this time, she's back in rehab. She won't be going back to her ALF. Hopefully, she will go to the memory care unit at another facility. Phone shot.
oh no.....sorry to hear this. It must be hard on you too. My mom was diagnoses with Alzheimers and she now lives in a facility for memory loss, but not a closed memory care unit, yet. Not easy for all parties. All the best to your mom.
Oh Mags, it never rains but it pours! So sorry that all these issues seem to be never ending! Wishing you and your Mom the strength you need to get through this.
I’m so sorry for your Mom. I have the same problems with my mom. My disease (shingles) was caused by the stress that came from my mother's next fall. It's a tough time, but try to stay cool.
@haskar Thank you, Haskar. I get why you have shingles. We have to stay cool. My heart doctor keeps telling me I am a number one candidate for a heart attack. I practice a lot of deep breathing and escape the stress as best as I can, but it's hard to do it all the time.
