My neighbor's seasonal pond 2...

This is a low lying area on my neighbor's patch. When it rains - a lot - a shallow pond forms and sticks around quite a while. In warmer temps, the frogs are very loud and sing all night long! Makes a happy habitat for them to breed and eat mosquitos. Shot 1/21.

Wanted to get a couple of these up for the landscape challenge.

Lovely ponds... when I was a kid in Florida we would take skimboards and ride on shallow ponds like this... it was so much fun.
