Pyromorpha dimidiata...

Commonly known as Orange-patched Smoky Moth. First time find for me. It's a lousy capture. There were two of them and they were fast. I'm thankful to get this one. Info on this moth here and please use the sight if you need to ID a bug - https://www.insectidentification.org/insect-description.php?identification=Orange-Patched-Smoky-Moth
Well spotted and a great capture.

Very Pretty. It's not blurry at all. Why you say its lousy?

@mittens Thanks, Marilyn!

@hunterjuly Thank you! The focus is too soft and worse, the composition isn't good at all - not balanced.

I like it, never seen or heard of this one before.

Can you ask the inner self critic to go away. It’s a lovely flower and interesting moth so that is good enough for me.
