Finally, a butterfly

I have seen very few butterflies in my yard this year which is distressing. I went to a place that had lots of flowers and I didn't see a single butterfly. Worrisome.

Beautiful shot! I've seen them but haven't had my camera with me when I do. So I know they're out there- but just not nearby. They seem to be less concentrated when the Gypsy Moth population is up. We had more of them this year, so maybe you did too? Nature has its cycles.
