Scratch where it itches

For the Mad Minute Word -- cacoethes, meaning an irresistible urge or mania. The urge to scratch where it itches is almost irresistible. The worst is always that spot on my back I can't reach. When I was in Wisconsin it was the worst of the worst, since I had sunburned my back going swimming a couple of days previously with my brother, sister-in-law, niece, sister, and sister's grandson. My back itched unmercifully! Aaargh!

Great processing - I have tried sponging sunburn with white vinegar or a cut tomato and both are soothing and relieve the itch.
