I decided the two apatosaurus youngsters were old enough to travel without the supervision of the adult apatosaurus (as long as I was there to keep an eye on them, of course. Frank would skin me alive if I let them do something foolish or dangerous and they came back damaged.) And so I agreed to take them to Wisconsin for the weekend as I was driving up there for a board meeting. What better place to celebrate Earth Week (as the 365 Toys are doing this week) than SweetWood? Natural beauty all around in the meadow and woods. My friend Jack kindly offered to give them a tour of SweetWood and they each had a back pocket to ride in. Here they are just setting out on their hike. You can tell by the expressions on their faces just how excited they both were.
@francoise Ha ha ha That would be bad, wouldn't it? Just between you and me, I had promised Frank I'd be very, very, very careful with them when I told him I was taking them up to Wisconsin, so the poor little dinos didn't really get a long hike, just a chance to pose in pockets.
