While my friend Jack and I went on some errands (bank, co op grocery, and pick up the weed whacker he'd left for repair) the dinosaurs stayed back at the house and watched the birds at the bird feeders. Lots of goldfinches, woodpeckers, sparrows, mourning doves, and I even saw a red-winged blackbird http://365project.org/mcsiegle/alternates/2015-04-24 (Actually I saw more than one.) But they were gone by the time I got the dinos onto the windowsill. Bird watching seemed one appropriate way to celebrate Earth Week, as the Toys on 365 are doing this week.
