I arrived at Meadowlark Hills, where my mother lives in a 4th floor apartment, just as they were commencing a test of the fire alarms. In the small 4th floor lobby area, with the fire doors swinging shut and the alarm blasting in my ear, I decided to distract myself by taking a picture out the window, before going through and to my mom's apartment.
Fun angle and perfect selective coloring. But what really turns me on in this image is that enormous, beautiful tree shadow on the street in front of the car! Love.
Hi -- we're partners this week. My favorite detail in this shot is the little arrow. So many wonderful swooping directions in this shot and that little arrow seems to sum it up. Your photos are so adventurous these days! (though I have to say that I'm quite taken with the dinos giving you a piece of their mind.) How about a diptych that tells a story? any subject, miniature or vast.
