KSC Gate by mcsiegle

KSC Gate

One of four re-purposed gate from inside the old East Stadium, which is being remade into a campus Welcome Center. As I walked past the construction site of a new College of Business Administration building, I recognized the gates being used as a purely decorative element on the re-configured entrance to campus at that spot. They are obviously not of contemporary build -- note the "KSC" for Kansas State College. At that time it was formally Kansas State College of Agriculture and Applied Science. Before that, it was founded as Kansas State Agricultural College (KSAC) under the Morrill Act of 1862 (Land Grant College Act).
Lovely study of the ironwork and great processing.

@denidouble Thanks, Deni. I spent a lot of time playing with different combinations of vintage processing. Was having fun, then realized I was eating up time I should have been spending doing other things.
