Pillsbury Crossing 3

Andreas challenged me to do a Romantic landscape. I had a hard time figuring out where to go. It's the wrong season for the type of lush green you might hope to see. I went out to Pillsbury Crossing in the Deep Creek area. I followed a little footpath that took me above the rocky area that forms a shallow falls. If it were warmer, I could wade out there and get some better shots of that.
@bournesnapper, I don't know if any of these are what you had in mind, but in the end I was glad for an excuse to go out the Pillsbury Crossing. I'll have to go back in the summer (at a time when there are not also a bunch of college students out there!)

This is really pretty even without all the leaves. I was admiring your adventuresomeness for even going out because I feel it is almost as cold for you, as it has been for us recently!

This was a tough nut to crack, harder than I intended it to be - so thank you for your gallant effort! I particularly like the setting of 'Pillsbury Crossing 3'. The warm colours in that vignette convey a feeling of autumnal nostalgia, an emotional mood which could perhaps be strengthened with even more warmth, and then the screen of leafless trees would come into its own. In any case the result is convincing.

My favorite Mary. The blue sky and its reflection in the background and the bit of green in the water in front are lovely bits of color in this otherwise wintery landscape.
