Last Sunday I went to the local Unitarian church—Frank thought we might have taken and left our bread knife there a few weeks ago and, since he’s in his Methodist choir which was singing Sunday I said I’d go check. The Methodist Church service is at the same time as the Unitarian, whereas I usually go to an earlier mass at my Catholic parish. (I didn’t find a match among the bread knives thhe had.)
They were getting ready to switch their seasonal banners, from the winter ones that were hanging to these spring/summer ones. Frank has been joining in with this congregation — sometimes on Zoom and then occasionally in their church, since they opened back up after the pandemic took them online, like so many other churches. He is now a member of the congregation (in addition to his Methodist church) and a woman asked me to write his name on the banner.
