Potato Soup

Wendy @farmreporter gave me the get pushed challenge of homemade food photography. This is potato soup that I made for dinner last night. In the interest of transparency, I confess the bread wasn't homemade -- nor, I guess, were the beans grown by me. Not sure if it is "worthy of a magazine cover" as she specified, but it's the best I've got.

The composition is good. The china is attractive and the colors and textures compliment each other. The overall effect is a warming and soothing dinner. Challenge met.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks for the challenge. Are you sure you don’t want a portrait of sleep deprivation and jet lag? 🤪 Just kidding. There will be plenty of excited greetings at Heathrow and the Manchester airport. Wish this get pushed week extended another week to when I meet you in Cardiff! Wales here we come. Oops, better get to bed now. Why am I always waiting until after Movie Night to post?
