For earlier shots this month I had neatened up the drawer or other bit I was featuring. Wjen I came to this drawer full of batteries today, I just didn’t have the enthusiasm, or even inclination, to spend the time staging that drawer. So I invited the dinosaurs and Neanderthals to come and pose for me. I have neglected them terribly lately and various dinosaurs have complained bitterly about the fact that there have been no photo shoots for goodness knows how long. A few of them took me up on the invitation and climbed into the drawer. (Well, the Rhamphorhynchus flew in, of course.) Having them in there doesn’t completely hide the mess, but they definitely liven the scene up a bit. And you can see the silly grins on some of their faces. They really do enjoy the photo sessions we spend together. I simply MUST schedule some regular times for that. In the meantime, here for your viewing pleasure is this more-or-less spontaneous and unrehearsed shot.
@tinley23 Lesley, you would NOT want them helping you to organize anything. Get the assistance of almost anything but dinosaurs (at least mine). Thanks for the comment.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond The very concept of me tidying up for a visit by international mice. They had to take me and my house as it is. We had a lovely time anyway.
@randystreat I'm so glad you like the china. Frank's mother had so many beautiful china plates, bowls, cups. There are more pretty things hanging on a couple of the walls and, sadly stuck in the cupboard.
