Yikes! I’m so glad the Christmice are safely in Toronto, as the drawer (with mouse hole) that they stayed in during their brief visit here https://365project.org/30pics4jackiesdiamond/365/2023-04-26 seems to have opened into a dangerous other dimension. It’s late now—James Corden’s Late Late Show was coming to an end after 8 years and I stayed up to see the very last one, despite the fact that I rarely stayed up this late to watch it before (regretting that now). I do hope the drawer will be back to normal by morning. I’d like to put the pens back in.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond No worries. Everything is still intact and not burned to ashes. Re: James Corden--whatever he will be doing, I'm sure he'll meet with great success. What a talented man! @jamibann I'm glad you are enjoying the Christmice that @30pics4jackiesdiamond has been sending all over the world. We all love those little meece. Who wouldn't? @wakelys Thanks for noticing the somewhat better detail. I was very disappointed with the poor quality of the shot I posted on the 12th. I'm pretty sure I took it in the evening, and the iPhone has definite limits in lower light. So I decided to try to recreate it in the daylight to see if I could improve on it and possibly swap out the original. Of course, I was still using the iPhone and the lighting in my dining room is not optimal. In the end, I decided to leave the original shot in place but still, I think I got something a bit better and that's what I used for this. @swchappell Thanks so much, Steve! @grammyn@randystreat What I actually used for the background was another version from the Hyperspektiv App of the shot of my hand used for this: https://365project.org/mcsiegle/365/2023-03-23 If you look carefully at this, you can see multi instances of where my wedding ring sticks out from my finger on the easier to understand version from last month. I thought it looked like flames and was thinking to post it with the tag line "Mouse Hole to Hell." But then I found out the Christmice were coming and had to wait until they were safely gone on to their next stop, before I posted the picture. Very glad they came to see me and glad I didn't post it BEFORE their scheduled visit or they might not have come to Kansas at all.
Wonder what James Corden will be doing back home?
