I figured out finally that if I could find a spot of color and just sit and wait (without melting - this is at 7:30 this morning) I might still find a butterfly. Along comes this gulf fritillary - darker than I remembered him several weeks ago. He just kept returning to the same few flowers so I just sat and shot. Nice start to the day.
