Ever since I got my DSRL I've wanted to try a shot like this - but we've not had enough water in Arkansas to do it this summer. We went to Big Cedar Lodge south of Branson, Missouri for my birthday and I got to play with the camera. They had a beautiful set of waterfalls.

That's the trouble with moving water shots - finding enough of it to make it work. We don't have waterfalls in the south of the UK - and it kind of narrows your options!
@peggysirk No tripod - it was back in the car and the area was quite busy with traffic. Just hand held it as still as I could. As this was my first try, had to try out a jillion settings until I got one I liked. This DSRL stuff is work - especially when you're so new to it.!
