The pecan tree is busy creating all its wonderful hanging parts and the birds have sure enjoyed them. Not so me for lawn upkeep! Caught this cardinal finally slowed from tag mode to catch his breath probably. Two of them have been having a wonderful time in and out this tree.

A fav right away, Milanie! This is one the neatest cardinal pics I've ever seen. Just love the draping green around him and of course the expression on his handsome face and the tilt of his head. If you were my neighbor, I might assume he's looking into my yard, wondering why I'm whining like a dog while a pug gives me odd expressions. :) Thanks for the fun comment shared on my Pug pictures.
