Kind of Like a Painting

Black is better. This is seriously cropped - if fact, I'm surprised the camera could even find him he's was so far away. I saw something fly into the tree - found a blob and aimed. Liked the early light hitting on him.

Oh he's gorgeous!!! I think they are called Red Shoulder Hawks, but not positive!! We had one years ago come into our yard and I think I took 100 photos of him!! Our dogs were puppies at the time and he was eyeing them!!! Took the dogs in the house and he flew away!! Still, I was soooooooooo thrilled just to see him!! I bet you were too? You really got great detail at such a distance!!! FAV!
