One of the few chipmunk pictures I've been able to capture. Usually they're in such a hurry. He was content to sit a minute on the edge of the rock wall.
I think Chipmunks are so cute, and I love the sunlight you've captured on this one. They are always quite busy. I love to discover the remnants of their meals as I walk through the gardens. Recently, the cherry red fruits of the kousa dogwoods have been keeping them satisfied. Little pieces, like colorful potpourri, decorate the walkways and bench seats!
