I think bluebirds are the sweetest looking birds - they have such wonderful expressions - this one looked rather thoughtful - very at peace with the world.
This bird does look peaceful! Love how the pretty light illuminutes the bird and the weathered wood, and you blurred the background so beautifully. On the black background, the sunshine looks even more intense. Gorgeous!
The POV you took this at makes him look like he's on top of the world! Or his little world anyway. Such a sweet thing.
You're right about being excited about the bobcat picture when it came up on the computer screen. I took dozens, some that had him facing me but also with twigs or limbs blocking a part of his face. I was tickled to get a photo that had a lot of leaves on the ground so it fit in my brown theme. As for the striped acorns, they came from my Pin oak last year and most were striped. This year's acorns are more plain brown. Why, I have no idea.
I agree, Milanie. I watched the bluebirds at the birdbath today, first time I've seen them since last winter/early spring, and I love watching them. This is a very nice shot, I like your pov.

Beautiful capture of this little guy.
