Had to do some checking on this one - wouldn't have guessed it for wild indigo (guess I see the word indigo and I think blue) - but it's such a smooth looking petal.

A friend who dyes, spins and weaves told me that yarn or fabric dyed with natural indigo dye doesn't actually turn blue until you take it out of the dye bath and expose it to the air. It's turns a yellow/green initially.
