The robins are gathering already? I'll have to pay more attention to see if there are as many still hanging around. The Amish are saying we are going to have an early Autumn. I am just hoping we don't get hammered in winter to make up for the three mild ones we have had.
Such a lovely spot of blue in the oak tree! I'm seeing changes in the bird population here in IL... the robins have been gone for weeks although I did see ONE two days ago. The starling and grackles are gathering on the power lines by the hundreds, something we usually see more towards the beginning of fall. The swallows are still here but I suspect they're making travel plans as I write.
