Cold and Blustery Must Be His Thing

Haven't seen any blue jays in the yard this fall - today was cold and 25mph winds - must have been to his liking. Not mine - attended an outdoor wedding this afternoon and nearly froze. Guess who didn't know it was to be outdoors??

I have not seen any birds in the yard since I got back from my trip to Colorado. Tomorrow I am going to get bird seed and put water in the bird bath. I know we have blue jays in the area during colder weather.

Since the weather turned wintery here the Bluejays have been more visible to us too. Particularly around our feeder and at the based of our lilac bush digging in the leaves looking for insects.
