Waiting for the Barge

I thought these birds were cormorants, but questioned the coloring of the one. They are a pair of Anhinga - a bird I'd never heard of before. Do wish I could have been closer - water between us though! Posting early as I took these yesterday. Thank you for your thoughts yesterday with the emphasis on the happy memories - that's what I'll remember :)

Think they may be cormorants. The Anhinga's have a much more sharper bill than what these have. Great capture of these two.
