The Best Laid Plans . . .

The Union Pacific's historic Big Boy No. 40 Steam Locomotive rolled into Ozark this afternoon in celebration of the transcontinental railroad's 150th anniversary on its journey to California. I was all set up in a good location - away from the 3000 people down by the depot (more than I've ever seen in town) when it turned out to be running an hour late. I had to leave to pick up Jerik from school and got back just in time to jump out of the car and get this shot. More for the memory than the talent!
