2017-10-13 low light in the unused wine press cellar
We visited our friend Josef today, who is on the way to renovate an 800 year old (yes right 800 years old) farm house. This photo is taken in the souterrain cellar, where the wine and apple presses are. It is full of things (treasures and junk) and holds still some huge empty barrels and tubies. It smells of good old wine, tannin and has a great ambiance. It will be renovated at the end, as first the rooms for living has to be done. Gosh this is such a lot of work and of course the culture protection is involved in everything. Ones this cellar will be a showroom for his wifes great ceramics.
It was great to meet our friend after a long time, and the low light in the cellar was georgeous.
Better on black, if you care and have the time.
This looks like an old master's painting. Love it. Fave
