On a long spring hike in the Inn Valley, Tyrol (Austria), we followed also a section of the Tyrolean St. Jacobus's pilgrims trail (Camino de Santiago) along the Inn river and past an impressive mountain scenery.
The scallop shell is one of the most iconic symbols of the Camino de Santiago and today it is used, along with the yellow arrow, to guide pilgrims heading to Santiago de Compostela along its many different routes.
@adi314 Hi Adi. Thanks for your comment, well done for beeing on the way. Well some say that in some kind of metaphysical way the "camino" begins at the front of your house and in your heart. But indeed, there are many trails coming from all parts of Europe. On Wikipedia there is a map with all the routes. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jakobsweg#/media/File:Ways_of_St._James_in_Europe.png
What an amazing image - lovely colours and tones, and great use of depth of field. This could easily be a painting on a wall. I didn't know about the scallop shell. Lovely to learn something new
Wonderful lighting as always
