We visited our friend Josef today, who is on the way to renovate an 800 year old (yes right 800 years old) farm house. This photo is taken in the souterrain cellar, where the wine and apple presses are. I took a picture of it a year ago and it is still full of treasures and junk and holds still some huge empty barrels and tubes. It smells of good old wine, tannin and the light down there is just gorgeous. Well the whole hous has the most beautiful light pokets, but the cellar is my favoite place. And this wire basket full of empty wine bottels, had to be placed in the light, to shine.... like emeralds for a moment.
It was great to meet our friend and his wife after a long time.
Better on black, if you care and have the time.
Great image. I like the natural light coming from the window and illuminating the bottle. It remind me of one of yours that is among my favourites. One of many. That was the attic here a cellar. You always find honey colored niches. Fav
