This is a really old theater that holds movie sessions, bands and other great occasions here in Fortitude Valley. However, when I first walked into the place yesterday afternoon, I found it stunk of mold (no fault of the owners) as the whole place is underground and is near where water or a stream ran regularly. The people who work there say that the smell isn't as bad now as it used to be.
We went to see a 1973 film of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars. However I didn't make it through 45 minutes as the strobes in the film were really bothering me. So, my friend took me to a place called the Powerhouse Museum where there was a cool art display of photos of lead singers in concert; from Nick Cave to Angus of AC/DC to Henry Rollins (Okay, Angus isn't a lead singer, but he's impressive with his own style).
