Usually, Stevie runs out onto my left leg and sits there quite comfortably for about twenty minutes... does a poo... then flies off to her cage. In the last few nights, she's been courageous enough to brave my feet and get right out onto my toes for inspection. I think she sees my legs as tree branches - big ones!
sorry about how blurry this photo is, but she wouldn't stay still for a third photograph... the orange light kept making her jump.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
Yesterday, I had two of my closest friends come to visit. One of them asked to watch an art show while his wife rested from a stint in hospital on my lounge. I couldn't refuse them as they'd had a big day. Anyway, Stevie started running around her cage trying to entertain us while the show was on. I ended up getting her out and patting her to keep her quiet... what a mistake. She ended up on top of her cage playing the silly idiot; running away from the lace of the curtain as the breeze blew it inward... funny little bird. Viv, my friend's wife who was resting, thought Stevie was the most entertaining little bird she's ever seen! :)
