Yesterday was my niece's - Riley - 12th Birthday! She celebrated by having a big party with her classmates attending and bringing lovely gifts. There was lots of food, games and fun had by all - including us adults too!
This was a birthday to remember by everyone... as there was more than enough Bee-sting cake to go around (especially seeing my Mum loaded it full of cream to make it taste like they used to make 'em... yummo!
By the end of the afternoon, it had cooled down and the clouds had scudded over the sky a little... but that didn't put a dampener on celebrations for Riley's day.

@digitalrn yeah, she's a great kid, Rick. She had a wonderful time; and kept coming up and hugging us all thanking us for being there... helping for the day... how good's that?
@cmt2812 I remember I took one to work once for my birthday (and this is when I began working with 8 guys in a mailroom better known as 'The Dungeon' for the reason that when we had a power failure, we couldn't see our hands in front of our faces!) and one of the guys hadn't heard of them before. Well! You'd swear they hadn't been fed for the year! I could barely get a piece home for Mum and Dad to share! So, I ended up buying another one for that night to take out to dinner (if I remember right!). :)
